Our Story
ShindigTime was born from a challenge that many families know all too well — staying connected
as life grows busier and families grow larger.
In the early 2000s, our family was in a familiar stage of life: young children at home, local relatives
nearby, and gatherings that were easy to plan. Birthdays, Sunday brunches, and holiday celebrations
came together naturally.
Fast forward to 2025, and life looks very different. The kids have grown up and moved into their own homes.
Our family has expanded with engagements and new additions. While technology has advanced, not everyone
in the family uses the same apps, platforms, or communication tools. What used to be simple — planning
a birthday dinner or coordinating a holiday celebration — became surprisingly complicated.
Sharing event details, organizing gift lists, and even enjoying casual family banter started to feel
like a logistical challenge. Messages were scattered across different platforms, details were easily
missed, and planning became stressful instead of fun.
That’s when ShindigTime was created.
ShindigTime is designed to bring families and groups back together by simplifying event
planning and communication. It’s a hosted website that anyone can access using a simple web
browser — no complicated downloads or technical know-how required. The platform focuses on clean,
straightforward design and practical features that help everyone stay informed, organized, and connected.
Our goal is simple: remove the stress from planning gatherings so you can spend more time enjoying them.
